About Us

Jack and Karen Goodlet opened Park Place Restaurant on March 23, 1992 with the mission of providing healthy, well prepared food at reasonable prices in a family-friendly atmosphere. Hence our motto, Home Cooking, When You Are Not! We are located just one quarter mile north of the entrance to Chickamauga Battlefield, the Nations oldest and largest Military Park. Thanks to the park rangers recommendations, we have served patrons from all over the world. We specialize in home style cooking with no animal fats used in the preparation of any of our foods. Park Place offers over 20 vegetable selections and Daily Specials as well as a large variety of entrees. Our jumbo shrimp, onion rings, fish and chicken are hand-breaded in house. We hand-cut our steaks and chops and grind our own beef for our hand-made burgers, ground steaks and meat loaf. We are glad you are here and want to thank you for giving us an opportunity to serve you.

Need a larger space?
Park Place can handle tour groups, business meetings, or any other large group in our private dining room. If you need even bigger space, then we can even designate a portion of our dining room to your group. Just give us a call to make your reservation.
